The KOHNO MAESTRO 2003 has arrived.

Manufactured in 2003, this is the high-end classical guitar model "MAESTRO" from the KOHNO brand. This guitar, characteristic of Kohno guitars which are highly regarded among Japanese classical guitars, offers a delicate yet rich sound.

The body top is spruce, and the sides and back are rosewood. Although not definitive, the grain and texture of the side/back material suggest the possibility of Brazilian rosewood, giving it a very atmospheric feel.

The sound is extremely elegant, possessing the softness characteristic of a classical guitar, while also boasting a core sound image and rich overtones. The sustain and separation of single notes are particularly beautiful, giving it a strong presence even in solo performances.

The neck is cedar, and the fingerboard is ebony. The balance between soft, natural response and the clear articulation characteristic of ebony is also excellent.

Weighing a very light 1.67kg, it has a rich acoustic resonance. You can feel the responsiveness characteristic of a high-quality classical guitar the moment you hold it.

It is currently strung with D'Addario EJ45, and playability is good. There is also plenty of fret remaining.

Cosmetically, there is a crack on the body top, but there are no current performance issues. The condition has a vintage classical feel to it.

Please consider it.
