A PRS SANTANA I has arrived.

This 1996 model has the special atmosphere characteristic of the early PRS Santana series. As a Carlos Santana signature model, it holds a very important place in PRS history and remains a highly popular model today.

Its most distinctive feature is the combination of the smooth PRS double-cutaway shape and the Black Cherry color. The deep coloring and beautiful arched top create a luxurious and captivating aesthetic.

The body features a maple top and mahogany back, the neck is mahogany, and the fretboard is jacaranda. This luxurious wood material configuration provides rich harmonics and smooth sustain in its sound.

The quick attack and dense feel unique to the jacaranda fretboard are particularly appealing, producing a glossy and three-dimensional sound in clean settings, and a thick and sustained PRS-like lead sound when distorted.

Despite being a 24-fret model, playability is very natural, allowing for smooth access to the higher positions. It's an excellent match for the singing lead playing characteristic of the Santana model.

Furthermore, the simple control configuration of 1 Volume, 1 Tone + 2 Switches is also a distinctive feature, providing operability that directly reflects the player's nuances.

Although there is one cloudy spot on the body, there are almost no other scratches or signs of use, maintaining an astonishingly excellent condition for its age. It's a very attractive piece for collectors as well.
