This is a Bach Strad model C trumpet, the C180L229GSP.
It allows for light, singing high-register playing and boasts the charming tone unique to Bach C trumpets.
It excels in various genres such as solo performances, ensembles, orchestras, and wind bands, and has been used by professional players worldwide from the past to the present.
The 180 series is synonymous with Bach's standard professional trumpets, featuring a one-piece bell (single-sheet bell) that produces the maximum and best resonance, along with a comfortable and appropriate response, brilliance, projection, and resistance generated by traditional advanced manufacturing methods. The gold brass bell adds depth and mellowness to the tone. While the L bore requires more air compared to the ML bore, it offers less resistance and a straightforward playing feel, characterized by a rich, deep, and brilliant tone.
This model features meticulously crafted specifications from the bell to the leadpipe.
Vincent Bach created his first Bach trumpet in 1924, and it continued to develop. Musicians who played it described it as "truly the Stradivarius of trumpets," which gave birth to the brand name. It is characterized by excellent response across all registers, easy intonation control, great flexibility, less fatigue, and the pleasing, rich, and beautiful tone acclaimed as the "Bach sound."
