The Epiphone EJ-160E has arrived.

This is a very unique electric-acoustic model, known as the instrument John Lennon used during his Beatles era. It has a completely different structure and sound character from regular acoustic guitars, making it a very appealing instrument for those seeking a "unique flavor."

Its most prominent feature is that, despite being an acoustic guitar, it is equipped with a single-coil pickup for electric guitars. Unlike typical piezo pickups, it can produce a unique sound with an electric guitar-like texture, possessing a somewhat lo-fi and dry atmosphere.

Additionally, the Volume/Tone knobs directly placed on the body top are also very distinctive. It has a different look and feel from regular acoustic guitars, strongly showcasing the individuality unique to this model.

In terms of sound, its unique character, a blend of resonance and electric-like attack, is appealing. It pairs well with clean amps and is a very interesting instrument for 60s-style sounds and home recording.
