A Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster has arrived.

This is an extremely rare Stratocaster, believed to be one of the early Fender Custom Shop creations. It possesses a distinct character different from typical vintage styles, embodying the freedom and experimental spirit of the Custom Shop's nascent period.

The first thing that catches the eye is the distinctive reverse headstock. It offers a different tension feel and visual impact compared to a regular Strat, giving it a strong rock-oriented presence. The tension on the long scale side is also unique, allowing for a slightly different playing feel than a standard Strat.

The color is Olympic White. Combined with the patina from aging, it creates a very elegant and vintage-like atmosphere. The classic look with the maple fingerboard is also appealing.

Another characteristic feature is the added tremolo springs, which provide a setup focused on tremolo tension and stability. This piece also shows practical usability, as expected from a player's condition instrument.

In terms of sound, the good attack and clarity characteristic of an alder body + maple neck/fingerboard are appealing. Clean, it produces a brilliant and three-dimensional sound, and when overdriven, you can enjoy a core Strat-like rock sound.

The frets and nut have been replaced, and playability is excellent. While having a vintage-like atmosphere, it is in a condition suitable for practical use.

There are almost no scratches or scuffs, and considering its age, it is in remarkably clean condition. It is highly recommended for those who want to experience the special feeling unique to early Custom Shop models.
