The Fender USA American Deluxe Stratocaster HSS has arrived.

This is a 2013 American Deluxe Stratocaster HSS. The American Deluxe series was popular as a high-end model of Fender USA, retaining the charm of the traditional Stratocaster while incorporating many features demanded by modern players.

The first thing that catches the eye is the vibrant Sunset Metallic color. The beautiful finish, which changes its expression depending on the angle, exudes an outstanding presence on stage.

The body uses select alder, achieving a well-balanced tone characteristic of a Stratocaster. The neck is made of maple and the fingerboard is rosewood, combining clear highs with warm mid-lows.

The pickup layout is HSS specification. In addition to the powerful drive sound from the rear humbucker, you can enjoy the sparkling single-coil sound typical of a Strat from the front and middle pickups.

Furthermore, this model is equipped with a Passing Lane switch. This allows instant access to the full output of the rear humbucker even during performance, which is very effective for boosting during solos and improving sound clarity.

Additionally, the volume knob with the S-1 switch enables a wide variety of sound variations. This allows for flexible sound creation that cannot be achieved with a typical Stratocaster.

It is also equipped with practical features such as roller nuts, locking tuners, and a heel-cut joint. Tuning stability and playability in the high positions are also excellent.

Weighing 3.68kg, it is well-balanced and can be active in all situations, such as live performances and recordings.

The frets have about 80% remaining, and the playing condition is good.

Cosmetically, there are several dents and paint chips on the back of the body, but these do not affect playability.
