A Takamine PT-307 has arrived.

This 1984 model is an acoustic-electric nylon string guitar that showcases the meticulous craftsmanship typical of Japanese-made instruments. It's a versatile piece that combines practicality and musicality, reminiscent of Takamine's early reputation in the acoustic-electric field.

Based on a classical guitar shape, this acoustic-electric nylon string guitar features a piezo pickup, offering both the warmth of an unplugged sound and the convenience of line output. In addition to the soft, smooth tone characteristic of nylon strings, it's easy to handle when connected to an amplifier or PA, making it suitable for both singing accompaniment and stage performances.

It features a cedar top and rosewood back and sides. The soft, responsive attack of cedar is complemented by the depth and resonance of rosewood, creating a calm yet robust sound. This instrument delivers a sound that naturally blends into a wide range of styles, including solo guitar, bossa nova, and vocal accompaniment.

Weighing 1.85kg, it's lightweight and comfortable to hold, minimizing strain during long playing sessions. This reliable Japanese-made 80s model is recommended for those who prioritize substance over flash.

Please note that the electronics are slightly temperamental. For those willing to consider it with current inspection and maintenance in mind, it could be a very interesting option.

While there are scratches, scuffs, and dings from use, the overall exterior is relatively clean, giving a good impression considering its age.

Please consider it.
