A Takamine TD-30 has arrived.

This is a Japanese-made dreadnought model by Takamine, manufactured in 1990. While it features simple and highly practical specifications, its appeal lies in the stability and solid craftsmanship characteristic of 90s Japanese acoustic guitars.

The body top uses spruce, and the sides/back use mahogany. While it possesses the rich resonance typical of a dreadnought, the warm mid-range unique to mahogany gives it a very easy-to-handle sound.

Whether for powerful, cohesive chords when strumming, or soft, natural attack when fingerpicking, this instrument is versatile for any genre.

The neck is made of mahogany, and the fretboard is rosewood, providing a very natural playing feel. The string height at the 12th fret is also set low, ensuring excellent playability.

Additionally, this unit has been upgraded with GOTOH pegs. Tuning accuracy and operation have been improved, offering peace of mind in terms of practical use.

Weighing a relatively light 2.06kg, it also boasts rich acoustic resonance. Its well-balanced feel, easy to handle even during long playing sessions, is another attractive feature.
