The YAMAHA CP-500 has arrived.

This classical guitar features the meticulous craftsmanship and stability characteristic of Yamaha. Rather than flashiness, its appeal lies in its high level of perfection as a "truly usable instrument."

The body features a spruce top and rosewood back and sides. While possessing the softness characteristic of a classical guitar, it also offers a balanced sound with clear articulation and sustain.

In particular, its rich resonance and sustain, typical of rosewood back and sides, are distinctive features. The sustain of single notes and the cohesiveness of chords are also very pleasant, making it versatile for everything from solo performances to accompaniment.

Furthermore, the neck is made of mahogany and the fingerboard of rosewood, offering a comfortable playing feel and natural finger touch.

Weighing a very light 1.69kg, its ease of handling during long performances is also an attractive feature.

The saddle has been replaced, and the current playing condition is excellent. There is plenty of fret life remaining, and it is in a condition that allows for many more years of use.
